#ULOG 677 - Daily Thoughts - 11 Apr 19 - Homesteading Today...
Good Morning, Steemians! :D
We’ve got a beautiful blue sky, a mild -1 temperature, and sunshine galore here this morning, YAY! :D We’re supposed to make it up to 9 C for our temperature this afternoon, that means more snow will melt away, double YAY! :D

Our lovely grand-puppy Lady just woke from a nap in the sun and needed a big stretch. :D

Since we’re supposed to have good weather all day my handsome husband decided the beautiful Belle should come out and join Princess, Joker, and Buddy in the pasture for the day and Leroy could spend the day in the barn, Belle wholeheartedly approved this decision. :D
Our supervisors decided we were close enough to being done the morning chores that they could all start slacking off. :D
Our pretty puppy mom Karma can’t be comfortable like this, at least I wouldn’t be, but it doesn’t seem to faze her at all, she’s happy to lay there like that for her nap. :D
It was a busy afternoon for us here on the homestead. :D My handsome husband worked to remove the snow plow from the front of his truck, and was watched by Buddy, Princess, Joker, and Belle the whole time. :D I think they were even offering advice, at least that’s what their “moos” sounded like to me, LOL. :D We made two separate trips down to get two round bales from a farmer friend down across the river, that took up a couple hours of our afternoon. Then we came home and dropped them off after we swung into town to drop off eggs, pick up a parcel from the post office, and grabbed a bite for supper one of our two local Tim Horton’s coffee shops. :D
During our trips to get the hay we passed by a few fields with deer and horses in them, it was so nice to see them out enjoying the beautiful weather. :D Here is a picture of some of the deer. :D
One of the doe’s we saw realized I was taking its picture and they posed for me. :D

The geese are back, that’s always a good sign. :D
We’re finally home for the day and we need to get the herd to the barn for their supper. :D They weren’t very happy with us for bringing the hay home and not putting them into the barn to enjoy it right away but I think they forgave us once they started eating. :D
