ULOG: #29 (13 September 2018)- Having Eye Check Up From NMC Eye Care
Just few minutes ago i just came from New Medical Center Eye Care in Abudhabi for eye check up. Recently i am experiencing discomfort on my left eye. So i decided to visit opthalmologist to get important information and queries about my condition.
After thorough examination, they put some drops into my eyes followed by eye tests, scan. I went to three different tests. The clinic was very busy so delays was inevitable.
After providing assessment and examination suggestions for treatment and options was explained to me. I took the prescription and went to pharmacy who will dispense the medication. The decision for surgery will be discussed on my next visit after three months.
It takes to carry out a full eye examination because of the amount of time it takes for the drops. I spend almost three hours in the clinic.
Thank God my condition is only minor. Principal diagnosis as indicated in the record is Pterideum bilateral. I just pay slightly because of my insurance card. Health insurance coverage varies. Thank God.
Getting a regular eye exam is important not only to check for vision problems but also to check for diseases of the eye that can lead to blindness if left untreated.

It's good what you did need every six months or yearly to check our eyes so next week I will check mine
