Good day steemians, today Sunday 10-6-2017 woke me up strong and filled with God's love. I woke up 6:16am with a great mind to praise and worship my creator. I took my bath and did some early morning chores and rushed to Church.
Today's Sunday reading was taken from 2nd Corinthians 5:15-20
Today is the thanksgiving Sunday for the youth convention themed:" Jesus did it for us".
Verse 15:
And that He died for everyone , that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Verse 20:
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, that ye may reconcile to God.

Because of what Jesus has done for us, thank you on our lips is no longer enough, lifting holy hands is not enough, Jesus asks that we live for Him. If He died for us then an appropriate grateful response should be living for Him. God knows what He places in our inside as youths we have the strength, ability, latents and the vigor, to go all out for him, to be Ambassadors for Christ.
Jeremiah 1:4, God had a task for you before you were born. God knew the condition of the world, He knew you would be a youth at this point in time, so He placed you to be an ambassador for Him in that situation. However most responds just like Jeremiah responded, I am a child I cannot speak. It is Interesting to know that in the Bible there is no one God gave an assignment who gave an excuse and then God accepted it. As long as God knows you and He chose you, you are right for the assignment whatever your excuse.
1st Timothy 4:12, Unlike most people would think, this was not written to an elder but Paul wrote it to Timothy a youth. Timothy was going to be standing up to speak to those older than him, he wrote to Timothy, Let no man despise your youth. There is a life that you can live and those older would know that you are responsible enough for treasure, positions and responsibility to be put in your care.
What are the reasons why the youth are despised? 1st Corinthians 13:11 Paul said when I was a child, I spoke,I reasoned, I understood like a child but when I became an adult I dropped those childish attitude . We must learn to Manage ourself, take responsibility for your space.

  1. Youthful Exorbitance is an extravagant display that takes away usefulness from our youthfulness. Drop the childish act and start to build content. No one would see you as an adult, no one would charge you with responsibility if you keep acting as a child.
  2. The Spirit of Fear: Paul also told Timothy in 2nd Timothy 1:6-7, God who sends us on the assignment is much more powerful than whatever it is he sends you to. Don't let fear stop you from grabbing onto the train to destiny, Don't let fear keep you down.Fear is a spirit it can be cast out.
What is holding you back is it youthful exorbitance drop it, is it fear? Drop it. Ask God to help you build capacity, be an ambassador for Christ, take responsibility.
