Ulog #169: Rainy Summer Day
Summer heat has been excruciating recently. We've experienced more than 50 degrees centigrade of heat index during the past few days. I've been out for deaf field service, and the weather weakens me. Our province has been recording the highest temperature in the whole country.
Last night, there's a thunderstorm. It didn't take long, but somehow, the rain helped to cool our ground after experiencing so much heat. However, this morning is different. It's raining when I woke up earlier. Up to now, there are rainshowers. I am supposed to go out early morning for a jog, but it's raining.
Still, I still view this rain as a blessing because our land needs to be watered. Farms are drying out. The ground absorbed so much heat. It needs a break from the heat. I am not sure what's causing the rain, but thank God because it caused some relief.
Anyway, this rain is good because it is not the torrential kind. Rainshowers are okay because it chills the atmosphere, and it feels good.
