Ulog #171: Weather Isn't Normal Anymore
As much as I want to have a colder weather, it gets ne wonder what happened to the climate. Today, it's the fourth day with cloudy and rainy weather. I woke up this morning with rainshowers.
My sister shared a video from Dubai. Just like here in the Philippines, it's supposed to be summer there. Rain is not even common in the country. It seems climate is changing anywhere.
It is a good thing to have rains during summer, but it draws confusion when gloomy weather is prolonged during the peak of summer season. At the moment, the rain has stopped, but we can hear thunder which is not common during morning.
Summer is too hot in our province too. Our place don't use to be the hottest in the country during summer, but we just recorded a high 51.7 degrees heat index recently. Such temperature is very dangerous, and it si affecting our health badly.
Why the weather isn't normal anymore is due to human activities which caused pollution. Instead of doing something to stop such activities, it's even getting worse. Rehabilitation would be useless if elsewhere, there's destruction of our environment for monetary purposes.
