My #ulog #8 - Happy to be busy!

Hi everyone!

The past two days were loaded for me. After coming from my weekly trip last Thursday, I headed straight to one of the best hotels in the City of San Fernando LU to attend a conference which started at around 4:00 up to dinner time. And though I was tired from my trip, I was excited and happy to attend said managers’meeting because I would finally get to sleep over in this classy hotel, for free. So who wouldn’t want to experience treats on beautiful places as this?

Not to mention that I would also meet old and new friends who came from different parts of Central and Northern Luzon. The meeting went well and we were challenged by the president to surpass our past achievement. I am inspired to do better this time and I am keeping a promise to work harder because I know in my heart that I could do better.

The three-hour meeting concluded and we took a short break before we feasted on a great meal for dinner. We ate to our hearts desire. It was a fun-filled fellowship and the ‘videoke’ added more life to an already lively atmosphere. One of my roommates, Jean was obviously a videoke queen who serenaded us with beautiful love songs. Then I heeded to our president’s challenge to also sing and I chose a lively song entitled “Tie a Yellow Ribbon.” To my amazement I got a perfect score of 100%. Hahaha! This made my night. Then we hit the sacks at past 11:00 and had a good night sleep in this chilling room.

Then it was time to bid each other goodbye. We parted ways at a little past 11:00 and it was Friday so I headed back to my office and worked the whole afternoon. I was happy to be busy!
