Daily #ulog Post: World of Politics (Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2018)
Hello #uloggers, are you done voting? Does we choose the right candidate? Let me share to you, my observation what was the real scenario during Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election today in our place.
Today is a Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election. This is the perfect time to vote for the right candidate. A candidate that can handle and manage the resposibilities in the position they're running for.
As the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan election approaching, there are politicians who came to our house and promoting themselves and offering an amout to have our votes. And of course, we accept the offer but it does not mean we will voting for that politician. We accept their offer but we choose wise. We vote the one that we see can be a better leader and could contribute for the growth and success of our Barangay.
Vote buying is normal in our barangay, candidate pay a certain amount of money to secure his/her vote from people. Every canditate bid for the vote of the residence in barangay. The higher the money given the higher the chance to win. That's how politics play in every barangay, even national election vote buying is happening. Almost every election, same scenario.
People think a candidate that can offer a higher payment for their vote, can rule the barangay or our country properly. They dont know politics is like a gumble, why would candidate spent millions of money just to buy the vote from the people? I dont know if people think of this. Politicians are wise, they wont spent a big amount if they can't get it back. Politics serves as their occupation. They spend as their investment and returned it back, two times or even thrice. And that money are came from people, us. We are the one who will also suffer from this. It is seldom to select a true leader in our barangay that will truly care for the best of the humanity.
Even young individual who are entering the world of politics think that it is easy as eating peanut. They were also exposed in vote buying which they can be carry out until they get adult. We are aware in the saying "Ang Kabataan Ang Pag-asa ng Ating Bayan", but as I have observe at very young age they are exposed in a dirty environment that the politics has. The young generation is our future leader and we must taught them how to be an individual with integrity. Exposing them to this kind of competition in politics will poison their mind and will ruin their whole personality.
We are so blessed we got a true leader here in Philippines. He is the one we're looking for a long time. A true leader that conquers illegal drugs and other crimes that had been occuring in our country for long years. And little by little, he is now changing our country. A drug free and crime free country. His love to the people is genuine. The unique characterestic of a true leader, caring for the best for his people and country.
I'm pretty sure were all done voting and I hope we have choosen our best pick. A leader that can provide the best for the people of his barangay. Accept whatever they give but pick the best that you see can bring the goodness and wellness of all. Nevermind how much amount the give, as long as you elect the one who can be a true leader and has a concern to his subordinates. The one that can carry the resposibilities of being a leader. Vote wisely, choose the best candidate.

People are really making a big fuss about 'vote buying' though it's still their choice to vote that certain brgy official or not. In my opinion, those brgy officials are just wasting their money since they don't have the assurance that people will really vote for them.
