#Ulog Day 31 - Farm Visitation + Fathers Day Preparation + Naliyagan Festival = Love

A day well spent without boss, deadlines, co-workers, just travel, enjoying, with family is a day of LOVE.

This is not a typical day for us, a day without schedules just going with the flow.
Let's start with this!

Today we Filipino's celebrates Indepence day as a national holiday so government offices are closed. There are absolutely no classes in all schools, to participate in parades. However, the main highlight mayor, and other officials of every Provinces, Municipalities, and Barangays give speech and a 21-gun salute. Many Filipinos spend the day in parks and malls.

Since their is no class I decided to stay home

Not typically inside only not going outside. When I say at home its about spending time with my love ones my family. In did this is a day where nothing is a plan.

Me and my husband decided to go out and buy food for breakfast as on our way to the store my eyes was captured by a fruit. As I say "lamia jud ana uie" my husband reply "daghan man ana sa bukid" then without hesitation I directly suggest that we can go to the farm before buying breakfast and he agreed.

As we got there we rapidly go to that tree to catch some fruits but before we get there I saw beautiful flowers on our way so I capture some photos.

I dont know the name of this flower but I just love the color.

I also dont know the name but I give this a name I call this MYRA FLOWER-myra flower because I always see this in the commercial of myra E capsule thats why!

And as we got there! we catches nothing the tree just started to bare fruit so we just decided to move to other fruit.

TO THE PAPAYA!

so we walk and walk until we find one!

this is so sweet! and yummy and also healthy.

##FATHERS DAY PREPARATION

Fathers day is fast approaching it will be this coming sunday and we must be prepared because they are all expecting for this.

so me and my friends decided to meet at the church at 1pm but it turns out that I am the inly one who came in 1pm coz they came at church at 10 am it really was awful. So as i get there they are still eating so I decided to relax while they are eating. After they eat we directly came to make and cut the letters one by one.

and also the big mustache.

This really is the part where we were all laughing because of some craziness we cannot resist. As we were playing music to entertainment us it turns out that the music we are playing turns to k-pop songs, and indian songs and we really dont understant it so wake different parody of some lyrics. Someone say "kasamok ba ana uie" while dancing with the beat so we laugh again. While working it makes our work easy coz we are also making fun of the moments.

And as we were all hungry someone came to invite us to make break so that we could unhungry our selves who could ever resist to food???

We really wanna say many thank you to auntie.

##NALIYAGAN FIESTIVAL OPENING

In our province every year aside from celebrating independence day we also celebrate the 1st day of our fiestival it is called NALIYAGAN FIESTIVAL.

What is Naliyagan Fiestival?

The Naliyagan is relatively a recent annual tradition. It started in 1993 when the incumbent governor conceptualized a festival that aimed to recognize the indigenous people and their contribution to the culture and progress of the province. To be able to come up with an appropriate name for the festival, the governor consulted the elders of the main tribe of the land, the Manobo, and they chose the name "Naliyagan" which means the "chosen one, and the most loved." Unlike the usual Catholic-themed Filipino fiesta, does not celebrate a patron saint nor revolve around a parish church. It is a commemoration of the founding anniversary of Agusan del Sur, and it pays tribute to everything indigenous and local about the province and its culture.

Aince its the opening of naliyagan fieatival my Mama and Papa invited us not to celebrate the opening but just to eat out together its been a while since we have eaten together, who could ever say no to foods and family bounding??

after eating we decided to make a walk on the different municipality booth. I capture not all booths but soon ill be making blogs about it.
