Ulog 4: A Trip to the Lake

We took a family trip to one of our favourite lakes today, and I figured I’d share the peaceful sound of the water lapping on the beach. Love that. So calming.

Don’t mind the sounds of kids in the background. My boys don’t come with volume control, but they were having fun.

I brought my new guitar as well, and had a chance to jam as the shadows got longer and the kids continued to play. It's so nice to be bringing my guitar with me, now that the kids are a little bit older. Music feels so good!

I'm taking you as my role model - we have no lakes nearby - but I'll be headed off onto the moors for a swim in the river again this evening.

Thank you so much for bringing us with you to the lake. I love water and being near it is one of the most relaxing activities in the world to me.

That rock was so cool. I have made a practice for most of my life to pick up a rock, piece of gravel, stone, etc at any special place or during a special occasion as a way to remember the moment. Great ulog!

I agree, being near water is one of the few things that really relaxes me. And rocks I think help to ground us as well. Thanks so much for reading!

Lol! This I can relate. I don't have kids of my own but my two nephews are loud and they are like a group of 4 or more. I always let them be but there are times that I have had enough haha!

I could spend a day and night there just jamming or just enjoying the environment. Such a stress-free place.
