Hello everyone! I'm here again to make another art and at the same time show how I made it using scrap materials.

For today I will make a "pot" made from old newspapers.

Materials

• old newspapers
• mold(pot)
• paint
• glue gun/ glue stick
• wire
• gawgaw

The first thing that I did was I prepared the gaw-gaw, that will be used as glue

*you only need water to prepare the gaw-gaw, and also a pinch of salt(optional) so that it will lengthen it's life

While waiting for it I started to cut the newspapers into smaller pieces, so that it will be easy to apply the newspapers in the mold(pot).

The paste is ready, but I have to wait for a few minutes before I used the paste, because it was too hot to touch.

After waiting, I immediately started to cover the pot

I used water for the first cover, so that the newspapers will not stick in the pot. You will understand it much better later on.

After the first covering, it's time to use the "gaw-gaw " I applied alot of gaw-gaw on each of the pieces of newspaper, to make sure it's hard like a real pot

I've waited for at least 5 hours before it dried, I guess it will be more longer without sunlight.
And now! It's time to cut it into half and remove the pot out of it.

It will test your patience during this process, for you need to be really careful and gentle, to maintain its pot shaped.

I've used few masking tape to return it into a pot shaped, then I need to cover it again with newspapers to hide the tape.
It's time to paint them, I painted them white for the first coating to hide the texts from the newspapers. This will also help to brighten the next color(second coating) which is gold.

Adding some designs on it for the last touch, and It's done!

I've made this using a wire and covered it using a leaf.

I will now add it on my artworks, and I can also use it as a pot for the plastic flowers, which is also a great idea
