ULOG DAY 26: "I AM SPECIAL AND UNIQUE"

When you say you are special and unique, can you squeal it out loud? How can you say it? Do you have certainty and confidence? Or, does it contain a sense of disbelieving and discomfort? What do you think makes you special and unique?

The first measure to develop a better world is recognizing, loving, and glorifying ourselves. How do you know yourself? Take a step back and look at yourself as if you had just made a new friend. In liking for who you are, you a new journey.

Some of us are not comfortable with the way we are created. We are challenged to be lifted up among others to be smarter, wealthier, and healthier than them. When we see someone who is better-looking than us, we lose our confidence, we feel so down, we think that we need to go to the salon or maybe to the gym. When we see someone who is wealthier than us, we like to drag him down. When we see others smarter than us, we do our best to reach their level. Comparing ourselves often misleads our goals. Instead of undergoing this inferiority, why not just to celebrate other's success? Why can't you just be happy for who you are?

We cannot meet people that will love us if we cannot love ourselves first. We shouldn't be competing with anyone to avoid the never-ending cycle of bitterness. We don't really have our opponent, it is ourselves who is our greatest rival. It is ourselves who is the opponent against us.

Let's be the best version of ourselves. Each of us is special and unique that designed differently. We are our own version with a separate purpose.

Sometimes we like to copy a person to gain everyone's admiration but we may never know that there are some people who like our own version. We may never know that a person we're envied with has something in us he wants to have.

We can't love ourselves if we often focus on somebody else's. We shouldn't focus on honoring others because before we were born, God has set His grace for us then. What we can do is to be fulfilled what God wants us to be. We should be can't we be comfy with our own skin.

We don't need to prove to the people around to gain their admiration. Instead of feeling secondary, just make the most out of it for who you really are. Don't think that life is always a competition. Many races are not really designed for us. God sketched us for the appropriate purpose. Don't be too fast to run the competition in order to win, take it slow. Know yourself more discovering what you are not.

Don't put pressure on yourself because you have nothing to prove. You have your our private race. Remember that it takes a lot of time and effort to convince people to like us and honor us. Do not be jealous because God anointed you already to be yourself. Rejoice your uniqueness and know yourself that you are wonderfully made because you are God's child and His masterpiece.
