ULOG DAY 8: "(LETTER CUTTING) BE AN ULOGGER"

in #ulog6 years ago (edited)

Dear Uloggers,

I was sleepy last night but my eyes were awakened quickly when I saw the post of Sir @surpassinggoogle about #ulog. To be a responsible ulogger, we should always put the number of the day of our #ulog title and make the #ulog the main tag. I like everything in #ulog because it is our online diary where anybody can give their advice if our write-ups need advice. Mostly, I like it because our number one fan is Sir @surpassinggoogle. So, join #ulog now. Below are the rules how to deserve to be an ulogger.

How to Be an Ulogger

  1. Use #ulog only when you consider your post a ULOG.
  2. Ulog once a day.
  3. Add #ulog to the tittle and add number to it.
    e.g: #ulog day #1.
  4. Use your Ulogger footers/headers.
  5. Use Ulog/Ulogs as your main tag then continue four other tags you normally would.
  6. Ulog can contain pictures but these shouldn't be from the Internet instead should be fresh pictures involving you or the events and locations within your day.
  7. No plagiarism.

In support to #ulog, today, I letter cut "Be an Ulogger" as my campaign. How did I cut each letter? Below are the steps.

How to Cut "Be an Ulogger"

B - Steps:

  1. Match the upper points to the lower points in each to the bottom and fold.
  2. Trim V-cut of the upper point and reversed C-cut of the lower-right point/side.
  3. Fold the paper vertically and cut the area in the middle by leaving the margin according to your preferred size of the letter. Begin trimming from the upper-right side down to the lower side that reaches the middle line.
  4. Leave a little margin when reaching the middle line downward.
  5. Unfold the paper.

E-Steps:

  1. Match the upper points to the lower points and crease well.
  2. Trim the area below the upper side or provide margin depending on your letter-size choice. Begin trimming from the right side. Do not trim until to the left side.
  3. Trim another line below the trimmed line from the top from the left side. Do not trim until to the left side.
  4. Cut the middle area.

A-Steps:

  1. Match the left vertices to the right.
  2. From the upper point, cut a slanting trimming to the lower-side point.
  3. Leave a margin from the bottom and trim a shortened horizontal line above the margin. Do not cut until the end or to the side.
  4. Continue cutting from the horizontal line to the top and horizontal line again going to the right side. Cut through the sides.
  5. From the bottom, cut another slanting cut shortened line that leaves the margin from the lower-left side. Continue cutting by forming a horizontal line until to the left side. Trim finely and unfold.

N-Steps:

  1. Match the upper sides to the lower sides and crease to create a middle line.
  2. Leave a margin from the lower-left side and make a vertical cut from the bottom to the middle line.
  3. Leave a margin from the lower-right side and do the slanting cut to the middle line reaching the vertical cut.
  4. Reverse the paper and repeat the Step 3.

U-Steps:

  1. Match the left vertices to the right and fold.
  2. Cut a reversed letter C at the lower-side point. To be simple, form reversed letter C-cut.
  3. Cut the middle area by leaving a margin of the right side. Cut a reversed L thoroughly to the left side. Unfold.

L-Steps:

  1. Cut letter L leaving a margin from the left side to your letter preference size.

O- Steps:

  1. Match the upper side to the lower side and crease.
  2. Match the left-side to the right-side and crease.
  3. Trim letter C-cut to the upper-right point.
  4. In the middle, cut letter L.
  5. Unfold.

G-Steps:

  1. Match the lower and upper sides to form a middle line. Crease.
  2. Fold again by matching the left points to the right.
  3. Trim letter C on the upper-right side.
  4. Unfold.
  5. From the right-middle side, trim the paper following the middle line going to the top and then moving to the left angle below the middle line.
  6. Continue trimming from the middle line downward, then to the right side, to the upper-right side and again to the left.
  7. Cut the middle line moving downward. Cut the excess.

R-Steps:

  1. Match the upper side to the lower side and crease.
  2. Cut C-cut at the right top point.
  3. Trim V-cut at the right-lower point. Unfold.
  4. Leave a margin from the left-lower side and make a vertical cut to the top that doesn't reach the middle line.
  5. Trim a horizontal line to the right side that doesn't reach the side, then trim letter C moving to the bottom.
  6. Fold the first part of the vertical line paper to make a middle line on its part.
  7. Trim a C cut.
  8. Unfold.

This is my new #ulog footer/banner. The original #ulog footer/banner is amazing but I can't download over the phone and my laptop is freezing, so I got this letter cutting idea. As we see, it doesn't look good for me so I'm gonna try making again soon because the compilations of Sir @surpassinggoogle deserve a lot of efforts. He doesn't want to pressure us but we should do our best to protect his reputation and dignity.

What are you waiting for, #ulog now and let your emotions be heard around the world.
