For extraction of E.coli DNA we need the following.
- A buffer
- Taq polymerase
- Forward primer
- Reverse primer
- Nuclease free water
- Dntp
- Mgcl2
- The DNA we want to replicate (template)
We vortex the solution then place them in little tube like vials called PCR TUBES, then place them in the PCR machine .
The machine amplifies and replicates the DNA into thousands of copies within a few hours.
NB: The PCR machine is seen in the first picture.
