Ulog episode 06 " ilabas ang kulit " taking selfies while the flood reaching the second floor of our house.
Hello guys its me again Mabel and I would like to share our enjoyable moment together with my daughter.
Early this morning heavy rain fall started at 7:00 in the morning until 1:00 in this afternoon. Because of the heavy rain the water level of river beside of our house increase so fast.
My husband took some photos before he leaves going to his work when the water is still not that high. For us who used to this kind of living it is normal for us to encounter this kind of situation. So instead we panic because of the flood my daughter and I enjoy our day while taking selfies. We used an application that can add avatar to our face " ilabas ang kulit ".
While the water is still increasing I grabbed my phone and we start taking selfies. My daughter is so excited before I open the camera setting. She loves to take photos while doing a lot of pose like distorting her face, tongue out, wacky, sad look and other silly gesture.
My daughter is so lovely and she always telling me that she loves me. As I taught her to say that everyday not only to our family but also to other people if it's necessary.
We parents should be the best model to our children and be an example that they should follow. Teaching them the proper manner, to be obedient to what is good for them, to respect elders and always show humanity to other people.
We don't belong to a rich family or even in the middle class. As long as we can eat three times a day and we can provide education to our children.
Most importantly the love that we never fail to show to them. Is a big factor that can help for the growing process of every children.
This afternoon the rain stops and the flood also subside. No more water entering our house and my mother already starting to clean the mess. The accumulated mud on the floor are scraped using the brick laying trowel that is used in mixing cement.
Sorry I can really help because I have 3 months old baby that I need to feed at any moment.
This month of May we are about to leave this house because our place will be demolished. To removed casualties from danger zone area which is prone to floods. We will stay to the house of my mother sister near to our next home this year.
No difficult situation can stop us to enjoy as long as we know how to manage the problem. This simple way of taking selfies together with my daughter gives impact to her life. We don't need to spend money just to enjoy this day because everyone's presence is also a reason for us to be happy.
