ULOG 013: SECOND DAY OF GEO-INTELLIGENCE SEMINAR AT NASRDA,ABUJA

Hello good afternoon,
My Ulog post for today. Today at NASRDA, Abuja, the Seminar on Geo Intelligence continued and I woke up around 7.00am and took bread and tea in the hotel. I got to the venue around 9.30 am and the seminar started at 10.00am.
Mr Tobi who is the instructor welcome all of us and we started the day Job. We were taught how to Georeference a map and how to edit, crop and how to digitise a map. We were given a computer system each and we were told to follow the instructions. It was really a good experience for me.
We made use of the GPS in acquiring data X,Y data.

We made use of Arcgis software and this software is a commercial software which was paid for, We had our lunch at 2.00pm and we took chicken and rice.
We commenced the second session at 3.00pm.
I told one of the Assistant instructors to help me in installing the GIS softwares in my computer system and he did. The course is a practical course and needs constant practise.
We ended the day session at 5.00pm and got to the hotel at 6.00pm.
The Seminar would be rounded off tomorrow.
