Even headless you is bigger things than content

These were the words that Terry said in ending the formal show. This was in line with the topic he was going to discuss.

I started the show with reminders on setting push to talk or muting their mics on the server so that we will not have any unnecessary background noises but then people don't listen and I need to server mute several people. Then I get annoyed if they want to speak and complain that they have been muted. If you were listening to the instructions then you wouldn't have been muted in the first place.

So I took this opportunity to promote several Contest posts that I have seen running in Steem. This is to encourage people to join and maybe win some prizes!

I also encourage people to join Terry's first Ulog-Dlive contest as there are two more days before it closes! We had some pretty memorable videos already and is awesome that we had a turnout.

I also managed to invite a few more people and was happy that a few of my @helpie folks decided to drop by and listen in.

"What is rewarded on steemit?"

This was the question that Terry asked the audience. He recalled the time before a lot of the hard forks that some of the posts would go and have pay-outs in 4000 in post value. That was insane and pay outs were in one day and so people would post, get a trending post and leave without caring because they had it right away.

Several hard forks later we are now in reward and curation mechanism that we have now. People still complain and have issues on it but even though Steemit as a platform has been here 2 years it is still young and so we expect a lot of things are still bound to change.

HF20 is looming and there are several changes there that have been controversial already.

Terry was explaining that there are several factors why a post would go on trending and earn well as compared to others. There is the factor that the person paid for the post to trend and if you look at their wallet you may see 50 SBD or more bids to bid bots or so.

The person might have created content before that stirred the heart of a person and made it that he/she will be supported by that person. That person may decide to suddenly invest and become a whale and there you have it you start trending because someone loved your previous content.

He also talked about the timeliness of a post. I had heard him before talk about his *Earthquake post That a sort post about it might trend because the post was made prior to an Earthquake and saved people's lives.

This is the idea of being a frontrunner to a concept that has not trended yet. This is the value of a First Mover Advantage. When you start a trend and the others follow you tend to have an early advantage of being first.

He recalls history of when he first came into the platform and there was no expectation that he was going to trend or become a whale. He was simply our Boy Terry that had a vision and that vision some people with power saw potential and invested their time to groom him.

He talks about how he caught the eye of Ned and asked him the questions no one else has asked.

All of these are placed in the @steemsecrets, sage advice from someone that has seen so many changes and is still here believing in the platform.

This is why Ulogs happened.

Ulogs is about connection

Ulogs is about content that is fresh and using the idea that you are important. That you matter. Ulog is about owning that cookie and talking about it. Owning the element of you and thus being in a comfort zone to talk about you.

Ulogs is more than the content as well as it builds a community of celebrities and fans. It is about those connections that you will forge. There is value beyond money as you stay for the community.

It is when you are happy with the triumphs of other people and leave behind the scarcity mindset that you alone deserved that vote. When you stop comparing and instead be caring.

This is why I love the message of Ulog and why I have been supporting it. It is in line with my morals and beliefs that Together is better. That if we help each other then we can spread the wealth and love to everyone.

We are all in this together and we can achieve a world paradigm shift with the power of an Ulog and the ideas behind it.

This sentiments were reiterated by @dreemsteem and why she is our celebrity for this week. She has seen that it can be a force of good in the Steem blockchain, maybe even the world.

Terry ends the formal show always at 1:30 AM Manila time and is proceeded with the after party! Some go to sleep, while some stay for the music and the laughter.

Terry starts off with getting someone on the spot and one of our favorite @julietisrael started off with her trademark song.

We had the smooth voice of @edprivat put us on a party mood!

This was when the @helpies from an invitation I left in the server came in and was placed in spots and became so spottable!

@zipporah was there from the start and was told that she was going to sing since it was her first time in the server haha and boy did she deliver with a sweet song that she originally composed!

@joseccidus is always a good sport and performed on the spot with a reggae sounding original song made up there with the words supplied by Terry. It is always funny when Josediccus does it and was asking if he can have terms but was told that he can after he sings.

He used those terms afterwards and got Terry to sing! He was shaking and nervous but people encouraged him and he ended up singing four songs hahahaha.

The entire server was entranced when @yidneth showed up and was asked to perform as well. Terry has that effect with people and she was not prepared but she held us spellbinded with both her light and dark music showing us two sides of the fairy queen Pris.

Haunting, enchanting, ethereal are but some of the words you can describe when you hear @yidneth's music for the first time.

She left Terry in a daze and he could not stop gushing. She truly made a fan out of not just Terry but everyone in the room.

Another witness @derangedvision was there and he is a very welcome presence in the server as he kept with a lot of the conversations and answering questions so if you have a free witness vote you might want to consider him.

Incidentally @dynamicgreentk escaped us last night as @derangedvisions performed a rap last week and he called out dynamic to do this week. Well, he might be spending time with his boys but hopefully we will get that rap battle someday!

All in all it was a great show. A lot of new folks getting to know our boy Terry and hearing him talk. It is our weekly dose of inspiration but in a way the show is also a way for us to inspire the inspirer. To send him some of our energy and support so that he can continue doing his awesomeness for the Steem Platform.
