ULOG #043: Another Wonderful Morning

3 days ago, I created a post about Mahagnao Volcano Natural Park. Surprisingly, upon checking it on the next day, it was curated by @curie curators. Waaah. It was unexpected. Thank you sooooo much to whoever took the chance, submitted my post and risked their Approval Rating (AR). Hehe. Thank you. Thank you soooo much Team @curie.
Its gonna be another busy day at work. Yesterday, our medical technologist called me to take a shot of her examination findings in the microscope. She was able to find a parasite that would possibly confirm a Filariasis case in our town. This would mean that how many years of being declared as a Filariasis-free province, Leyte will no longer be one. The slides has been sent to the Provincial Health Office for further verification.
Today, the RHU personnel will conduct some case findings and screening, to detect whether there are others who have been infected by this parasitic worm. If the case will be confirmed as Filariasis, mass drug administration will follow. Busier days ahead for all of us. But yeah, that makes our work more exciting.
I'm so inlove with public health. Grateful to have been blessed with a job that I would learn to love and enjoy. Yes, there are so many challenges, but I guess, work will be boring without it.
