ULOG 32: Leisure Lagoon at Mission Beach

Today I learned that the specific beach spot my parents have been bringing me to all my life is called Leisure Lagoon. My daughter let me know it’s name after I took the wrong turn... again ... and ended up at Fiesta Island ... again.

La Playita is what we call it, it’s a nice little beach that surrounds a tiny little island. One of our likes here is to get our lunch, out it on something that floats, push it to the Island, and eat there.

We didn’t do that today. It is San Diego, and it is warm enough to hang out at the beach, but it is November and this mama gets cold!

My dad brought his canoe 🛶 and him and the kids took turns rowing around in it.

We also played in the sand.

That was the beginning of a Castle/Tower/Lighthouse. The giant came and destroyed it before it was done.

And ABC Horse almost got abandoned. Good thing mama was looking out for him. He is “brand new” after all.
