"I am perched on steem and I found moon"

Last night we started early without @surpassinggoogle. He said he might be late so @maverickinvictus and @mermaidvampire started the talk. We were to discuss on how to bring #steemit to the moon.

They asked how we could do it. People were giving their opinions. Invite more people, advertise to different places. Also trying to get more investors. Ideas were flying back and forth. We only noticed that @surpassinggoogle was already online and listening to us.

People talked about power down and power up. I honestly do not know much about cryptocurrency and those things. I love #steemit for what it does for me. A place where I can write and express myself. Be at home and at peace. A place to read about other people and other places. Someday I hope I will actually be able to understand fully. Maybe I am too old or my mind is but I am still willing to learn. My group mates are very patient in teaching me. Even in en-cashing and how to earn more. But I take it in stride and slowly learn.

They also talked about different contest and @julietisrael promoted her contest because she reached the milestone of 60 reputation in 6 months, wow congrats to her it took me 9 1/2 mos. I think it is about writing a scary story hahah I might try it.

I really am at awe with @mermaidvampire for reading out loud the whole script or post and explaining it all. She has a soft voice. cool and calming. Kudos to her!

@Surpassinggoogle came on later, answered a few questions and thanked everyone. There all the usual crowd a few new ones, new members or first timers in joining the discord.

We finished with the talk proper around 2am. I wanted to stay for the after-party but I was tired from the days activities and it was raining. A good weather to sleep. So I logged out by 2am. When I woke up around 6am they were still at it. LOL I could not stay longer because I had to get my mom ready for the lay minister who comes to give her and me communion. I am thankful for that.

All in all it was a great night and a great morning the following day.
