What A Day #Ulog #5 - May 10, 2018

What a day it has been. I woke earlier than usual, had an early breakfast (also not usual) because I had to go to the city early for some blood works. It would be the same as the one I had yesterday, my doctor wants to compare them. The good thing was that it was not a fasting blood chemistry so I was able to eat breakfast too. But like yesterday I did not drink any of my maintenance medicine so the doctor can see how my blood sugar is.

Got there around 8:30 and had to wait inline good thing there was not much so I had my blood extracted almost 9am. I was talking to the med tech on how my niece was able to find my vein on my right arm so she tried there first, lucky her she got my vein in on poke.

Then I waited at the doctor's clinic for a while because I had to wait for my results. When one was available the important one I went to my doctor. The HbA1c which helps the doctor know your baseline sugar level was the first to be available (kind of expensive too) The result from the hospital was lower then that one taken from the Lab here. My niece said it was probably because I was stressed and been cleaning. But my doctor used the one from the hospital as her basis of prescribing my medicines. The regular should be 5-6 and mine was 7 yehey from a 10 three months ago it went down. Bu the one taken here was a 9. But she said it was ok. So I stick to my same meds, no insulin injection yet (yehey).

After that we went to the mall for our lunch and the regular things we do like buy maintenance medicines and grocery. For lunch I tried the Habibi Shawarma. It was pretty good and cheap.

Was good and filling. I bought the large with extra cheese sauce for 94 pesos. It was good. While waiting I saw 3 of my nieces with the daughter of one niece. They came over to take a group picture in front of the Habibi stall.

The first shot. We took another one because the Baby was not looking at the camera.

So the second shot everyone was looking at the camera...and guess who else LOL.

So then the medicines were bought then we went to the grocery. It was tiring on my feet because there were so many people! I also bought an electric fan, a desk fan because one fan broke down. Could not handle the pressure and heat hahah.

Before going home I stopped by at my classmates house. She was just here last March for short vacation but came back because of the sudden death of her mom. Such a sad thing but I was able to hug her and we both got teary-eyed.

Going home kind of late , it looked so peaceful and quiet.

When I got home a little late we had to put all the groceries and medicine we bought in there proper places. I had a late dinner then put up the new desk fan I bought. Hope it will last long.

So another busy day. Got enough supplies for a month at least even our maintenance medicines. Even though I am tired and have a headache I had to make my post no matter how late. So even if I don't get votes that is ok as long as I have a post and not zero for today. What a day it has been
