Hello guys, how's everyone today? I hope everyone was good.
As i post 5 days ago my own grown red bell pepper, i will now use it as one of the ingredients that i will cook for tonights dinner.Let me introduce to you our own version of Classic Embutido.
What is Embutido?
Embutido is one of the most popular food here in the Philippines. As years goes by, the new generation continue to explore this recipe. That's why it became popular generation by generation. It is often serves usually on celebrations like birthdays and feast.
So now, we will try to do it. My mama brought all that is needed in this recipe, so i am the one who's in charge to do this recipe. Let's start.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo ground pork
2 eggs
1 large carrots (minced)
2 red bell pepper (minced) /my own grown😊
1 large onion (minced)
5 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 tsp iodize salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 small pack of pepper
1 pack of Chicken seasoning (any of your choice)
3 pcs of loaf bread
Raisins
Procedure:
1.On a large bowl put together these.
Garlic, onion, red bell pepper and carrots. Together with the ground pork. Mix well until well combine.

2.Put the eggs, pepper, chicken seasoning, sugar, salt, pasas. Combine well.

pasas
3.After that get the loaf bread and cut into small pieces. As tiny as you can, but i got a nice technique. I used the cheese grater, and it works perfectly!
After mixing all the ingredients, put a 1/2 cup of the mixture into a foil. ( i've missed to took photos on this part, but i know guys you had an idea already how it looks like.)
Note: Make sure to securely tight your foil to the mixture to prevent from sagging.
I prepare a caserole and pour it atleast 1/2 of water and make it to a boiling stage until i put on a steamer the Embutido.
Actual photo while it was on the steamer.
4.Cooked for atleast 30 minutes. Let it rest for a while before you cut it.
5.Serve with ketchup or any desire dippings. Enjoy!
Some people likes to slighty fry this. I am glad that the red bell pepper that i used here is the fruit of my labor haha!
