For many women, the beauty and health of hair plays a fundamental role.

On many occasions we have resorted to treatments to straighten hair, dyes, etc., to look better hair, but we do not realize that many of these treatments are aggressive to our hair. We forget that under our hair, we have skin. We must remember that for the hair to look healthy and shiny, it is essential that the scalp is well nourished.

Today I want to talk of the Cayenne, which is a plant from East Asia and has many benefits ranging from medicine to cosmetology. This plant is excellent for hair, helps to combat the lack of shine, fall, dandruff and baldness, also acts as an exfoliant that regenerates the scalp. It is also known in other countries as hibiscus flower, or blood of Christ.

In much of the Venezuelan territory this plant is present. Its beautiful flower can be found in various colors (white, pink, yellow, red), but the one we use to prepare hair treatments is red.

There are many ways to prepare cayenne flower shampoo and today I will show you two ways to do it.

Method N ° 1

  1. We chose 15 cayenne flowers (They should not be withered).

  1. Then the wash to eliminate the residues, remove the petals and let them soak with half a cup for 25 minutes (the flower begins to distill its gel).

  1. Empty the petals with the water in the blender and mix until you get a pasty mixture, then strain.

  1. We add that mixture to the favorite shampoo (The shampoo you always use), Shake until the ingredients are well mixed. That way you get the shampoo from the cayenne flower. It is best to apply the shampoo twice a week.
