Ulog # 20: LLC Division Celebrates 210th Independence Day

Hello Steemians, today is the 210th Proclamation of the Philippines Independence Day, and how do we celebrate Independence day?

Every year the Lapu-lapu City Government Officials come and gather in order to celebrate the Philippines Independence Day. The City Mayor was also there and even famous Philippine celebrity was invited for the event. But what amazes me today is the crowd. I love seeing those people gather for the same reason. So I took photos of the event.

At 6 am that was our call time to be at Mactan Shrine one of the tourist spot in Lapu-lapu. Most of us know the place so well for this is the exact place were our hero Lapu-lapu fought with Magellan a Spanish invader. Here are the photos I took.

This is a photo of before and after the sunrise. I get to have a glimpse of Mr. Sun. Then the program started at 7 pm and we get to witness a great dance interpretation of some selected students.

_{This was my favorite photo coz I can see how this young girl enjoys dancing. And she didn't even feel tired even if she had to dance for one hour just to show her dedication and love to present the reenactment.}

Well the photo above speaks so much passion, I took this photo while the dancer's did a dance interpretation of how we Filipinos fought for our freedom. When I saw this photo I saw the dancer's passion and love for dancing and in that way it was a clear depiction that she loves her country so much.

Capturing a reenactment Lapu-lapu and Magellans fight. And the victorious Lapu-lapu has freed the natives from the Spanish Invaders.

Well it just amazes me seeing those many flags and the people who were there to witness what the local government of Lapu-lapu prepared for the 120th Independence Day.

Faces and People

My Co teachers are tired and bored for we have been there since 6 am and some of us were not able to eat breakfast. But because of being a government employee we are obliged to be there. Just a little sacrifice not even a quarter of our Heroes sacrifices for us. Captured one of the distinguished guest which is a Filipino celebrity Alden Richards a kapuso star. The one wearing a barong a tradition clothing worn in special events.
