#ULOG 001 : PAKSUL IN MY AFTERNOON TUMMY BREAK
What a windy day!
After a tiring hours in the field to fulfill my duty (bringing laboratory test for pregnant women and different chemistry tests like FBS, RBS, Total Cholesterol, and Blood Uric Acid) at Barangay Bulala Sur, I and my colleagues went on a short tummy break at Ballesteros, Cagayan. As usual, Paksul aside from Royal Bibingka is most heard as delicacy of Ballesteros.
We drove straight at their public market and found the place where Paksul is best served according to the people we spoke to. The establishment doesn't have a name outside but I guess people of Ballesteros know well where to find it (as far as my memory is concerned, it is a straight forward street at Ballesteros Public Park until we reached the market).
You may choose whatever best satisfies your hunger in cheap prices. Well the more expensive it is the yummier it would be. Your choice!
I personally witnessed how quick they responded to our orders. After 5 minutes, Paksul is served! Hot and mouth watering! We were four so we ordered two Jumbo, one Super, and one Mega.
I love eating with whoever I'm with. My appetite is low when I'm alone but I have a big stomach with friends, family, or colleagues.
With that, I picked the biggest serving...JUMBO! It was in a huge bowl and Miki noodles was seasoned with pork, vegetables, and chicken egg. Ooooh that was a complete food pyramid!
But I love it more with my favorite condiment...Chili oil with flesh and garlic! Spicy!
My tummy was satisfied! And my colleagues too! I wonder when will I be able to eat Paksul again.
