Ulog#3 : Scouts Competition of Lhokseumawe
The secretary of the Lhokseumawe T. Ruslan, S.Pd, said that the scout camp was attended by 300 participants from each school level which ran from 7 to 15 October, said T. Ruslan in his report.
This activity is planned to be carried out in the middle of last March, but was postponed due to the graduation exam and class upgrading.
After being delayed for some time, the Tunas Remaja competition was finally held and opened by Acting Head of the Education and Culture Office Mr. Drs. Nasruddin MM.

Mr. Drs. Nasruddin, MM in his speech said: this camp for teenage scouts emphasizes more on the scout competency aspect, and the ability to master various materials that are useful for training participants' independence in dealing with various real conditions in the field and daily life.
This scouting competition is expected to take place in a sporty manner, by respecting the cultural character of Islam and not overly demonstrating the interests of the group so as to leave the shared interests of the Scouts.
"In the coming years the competition which is held every two years will again be used as an annual agenda to train the character of the younger generation in the city of Lhokseumawe in particular and Aceh in general." He added.
