Introducing #ULOGS to the Japanese Community together with @yasu24

in #ulog6 years ago

A few days ago, I posted my first ever Dlive video in which I spoke about #ULOGS. You may check it out in this LINK. And then, a good friend of mine who happens to be a Japanese steemian commented on my post saying that somehow, I am becoming a bridge between the Philippines and Japan. It made me really happy since I love both countries so much.

Our conversation went on and I expressed my thoughts of wanting to introduce #ulogs to the Japanese community. I still have a long way to go in terms of the Japanese language, so I suggested him to translate "Ulogs" introduction and guidelines in their language. However, he wanted us to do a collaboration instead.

Here's a screenshot of our conversation. :)

So what we did was, I prepared and translated the introduction and guidelines of #ULOGS and then, he proofread my translation. It was such a great opportunity for me to improve my Japanese as well. After I prepared and translated, I sent him the file through a personal message.

He then proofread and sent it back to me. @yasu24 is such a wonderful person. I know he's busy, but he still find time to help me. He even stayed up late. Thank you so much! :)

Checking and finalizing the file, I summarized it into two pictures which might be helpful for Japanese Steemians to understand the concept of #ULOGS better.

Here are the result of our work...

Aside from the daily #ulog posts we can share, @surpassinggoogle or Sir Terry also hosts some contests in which there are no losers. Wouldn't it be nice for the Japanese community to participate as well? The more the merrier, isn't it?

So, whenever Sir Terry hosts a contest, we would like to share it to the Japanese community as well.

Once https://ulogs.org/ is complete, it'll be much easier for people all around the world to use it. According to sir Terry, it is mostly in test now, but already in use. I'll try to use it one of these days, too. <3

Lastly, I'd like to thank sir Terry for allowing us to make a translation and share it to the Japanese community. And of course, to @yasu24 who is very supportive. I hope to see Japanese Steemians using #ulog in the future. これからもよろしくお願いします~!

Well done, @tegoshei and @yasu24. We'd be delighted to see stories made in Japan all over #ulogs. It's a fascinating country, lovely people and great culture. Keep trying to promote Steemit and Ulogs everywhere. Enjoy your day!

Thank you.

Thank you so much... ^^ Have a great one, too! :)

Hi there, @tegoshei,

I LOVE what your Steemian friend @yasu24 said about you...

... becoming a bridge between the Philippines and Japan. It made me really happy since I love both countries so much.

I also appreciate him helping you with your Japanese by editing what you wrote. So very kind of him as you both collaborated to create an easy way for Japanese Steemians to learn about #ulogs.

Very exciting! I sometimes use google translator to read #ulogs that are written in different languages, so I look forward to doing the same with Japanese #ulogs. Your graphics will also help to clarify the main points a lot.

btw, it's easy to use Ulogs.org... that's what I'm using to write this comment now. Just be careful if you have to scroll up the post to copy/paste usernames or excerpts, like what I did earlier. The page accidentally reverted to your timeline and I lost what I'd written as a comment so far. I think that used to happen in Busy.org too.

I think you'll enjoy it when you have time to try it. Good luck again and Thanks to you and @yasu24 for your great collaboration, @tegoshei.

Thank you so much @angelacs! I really hope more people all over the world will participate and join #ulogs. I'm also very grateful for your heads-up. I'll remember that once I start using the platform. I actually wanted to try it out earlier, but it takes a long time to load... It's maybe because of my connection, too. However, I'll surely give it a shot again. Have a great day! ^^

You're very Welcome, @tegoshei.

I really hope more people all over the world will participate and join #ulogs.

I agree. It's a wonderful way to learn about new people but also different cultures and customs. Global village-style. ;)

... but it takes a long time to load...

The loading is good at my end so yes, it may be your connection. When you do your first #ulog, remember to tag me so I can come visit and support. ;)

Have a great day!

Thank you. It's 11:23pm here in Jamaica and I'll be working through the night. You have a great day over there too, @tegoshei.
