Ulog cycle 2 day 28 Tuesday 11/06/18
Here is a photo of the ramp that was installed. It sure is a long,long ramp. I have not gone up or down on my own. Someone has always pushed me. We should get some snow in the next couple of days. Well see how it works under those conditions.
It has taken a while to get this picture uploaded. Sorry for the delay. This should give you a good idea on the size.
Today is steemfest day. I read posts from @tarazkp and @abh12345. They were boarding planes ✈️. It seems like forever since the discussion on attending steemfest started and today. There are no others that I would prefer to attend then them. I will watch for posts from them even if it’s only a couple of lines. I think we should get some good insights from them on not only steem but steemit along with SMT’s. Don’t forget to support them they do an awesome 👏 job for steemit.
Today is Tuesday so that means blood tests. They went well today. Next Tuesday is another blood tests. So I get a little rest to recover before starting cycle 3 and scans.

I seem to be doing better than expected. The scans will make the decision. I would be lying if I didn’t say I was worried. When things are going better then planning I get concerned. So I would like to see some scans. I know I have to wait.
Cycle 3 is only the 60 day mark. But having 90 days hanging over your head is a concern.
Enough of this for now. I have been watching the election results. Just keeping an eye on it. Also looking at some sailboat listings. Thats a little bit in the future but have to keep options open. I saw a couple nice ones that would work.
I heard that steemfest might have some kind of streaming. Have to look and see if this is true. If anyone has heard about this let me know and a url if possible. Its the next best thing to being there. lol

Yeah that’s a long ramp.
It has a drop of 1-12 inches. (Every foot it drops 1 inch) that makes it so long.
It has been snowing all day today but it is not sticking

Good to hear from you buddy. Glad you seem to be doing a bit better. I am also watching the elections and have to wait a while to see if my State of CA went more left or a bit right. But either way tomorrow is tomorrow and we should move forward

Ya I live in one of few district with a GOP in the house. My wife and I voted for him again but they have been trying to flip this district for a while. They think cause it went for HC it will go Blue but I don't see it. We just have more people that still vote for the GOP but don't like Trump. So they didn't vote for him. The worry is so people stay home cause our silly top two lead to us having to vote for only Democrats for the Senate.
Yea. It is hard. People tend to vote with emotion rather then what is best.

In order to keep things fresh has to have a big,fast turnover of sushi. I have never seen this other then tv.
I like fish.it is hard being in the center of the country to get fish. Let alone it being fresh
Whoa! I knew from your earlier photos that it was going to be a long ramp but I didn't visualize one this long! If anything should be set up as a conveyor belt, this is where I'd start! Or, and I don't know the right terms, but some kind of pulley system? A winch? You're riding in a chair with wheels, a clever person should be able to take advantage of that and design something cool.

After the midterms this is what I've noticed - junk mail down by 70%, phone calls from pollsters, candidates, and propositions down to zero!

I have to wait 6months for the inspection to take place before anything can be done to the ramp
Before the end of the month I will announce that I will be seeking the speaker of the house position.

I was thinking it would be easy enough to get down the ramp but getting back up it would be an effort. Maybe you could start with a really long bungee cord? But as long as you have people at your beck and call it's not a problem!
Speaking of people at your beck and call, I'd vote for you as speaker. Gladly. We had a 'politics-free' day yesterday. My husband has been watching all the news shows up to, during, and after the midterms. I try to stay away from politics so it was a blessed relief to have the TV off all day. But I'm aware and interested in how this House thing is going to turn out. If there ever was a 'rogues gallery' of politicians this new roster of committee chairmen would be it. (heavy sigh)

Swinging by to check in on the update here. Looks like tests and more tests.
Isn't it just the way. When things are going better than expected, we wait for the other shoe to drop. It doesn't usually help at all, either, but a'worrying we go. In my case, I think it's meant to prepare me for the worst, but I'm not sure if that actually happens. It's more like worry, and still feel horrible when the worst happens.

Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away. It’s a kemo week for me. I will make the best of it. Then Xmas is right there next.
It is important to me to get past the 90 day mark.
I have been looking at boats. Looking for a good deal even if its buying one outside the US. I have spoken to a couple of people who did this and they are very happy.

The ramp went up fast, the VA will inspect it at the 6 month stage to insure all is well

Yes it is nice to see that they are on top of things.
The VA is getting better but will never be as good as private medicine is.
I guess I have commented before about government vs. private services. I won't ever give in to the lower quality of service of government sectors but it's also not worth stressing over it all the time.
