#Ulog Day 18: Worship time, it's Lord's day!

Happy Sunday Uloggers!

Sunday is Lord's day! Let's thank the Lord for another day to see the world and our loved ones. Todays is a very productive day for me. I woke up at 7 in the morning, which is earlier than my regular wake up time which is 9:30 in the morning. hehe. I had an awesome breakfast, a Jco donuts plus hot coffee. Later on, I started my laundry and at the same time cleaning the house. Just before lunchtime, I was able to finish all my household chores and cooking our lunch. Then we had a movie marathon while taking rest.

At 3 pm we started preparing for worship service when suddenly a heavy rain fell. For the past few days we've been experiencing bad weather and I thought the rain will not stop, but after about 10 mins the sun showed up again. We hurry up and just in time we arrived in the place.

Today's passage was taken from

Galatians 3:29 where it says

29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise."

Galatians 4:1-7

1 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave,1 though he is the owner of everything, 2 but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father. 3 In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles2 of the world. 4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

The Message

In this world full of sins, God adopted us from the slavery of sin and make us his own children, his heir. The Lord doesn't judge us according to our past, he loves us and he is proud of us. Thus, whatever situation we are in right now, always remember that our Father is always with us to walk us through. He is someone who will always listen to us and stay on our side no matter what.
