An apocalypse is a of knowledge or revelation. Historically, the term has a heavy religious connotation as commonly seen in the prophetic revelations of eschatology and were obtained through dreams or spiritual visions. The apocalypse is not the end of the world, It's the end of the way we see things. What might be the end for one person is the beginning for another.

Let me give you an example:

Let say you live in an unfortunate part of town. You wake up in the middle of the night and decide to get a drink of water. You get to the kitchen and turn on the lights, suddenly you see bugs on the floor running away. You jump and say to yourself; thank god for lights, i could have walked onto bugs on this dark floor.

From the perspective of the bug; Oh Oh, with this bright light on me, I can't do what I want and get away with it. No more free food and certainly no more roaming around looking for something to eat or destroy. The bugs know it's time for them to run back to the hole they came from.

From the perspective of the person; the light is a good thing which aids them on their quest to get a drink. From the perspective of the bug; the light is a revelation, it makes the bugs recognize they can no longer hide is the dark and do the things they do and get away with it. If they don't flee, they will get the bug spray.

The light is the Apocalypse; Light can also be information, because it will give you clarity.

There you have it, the Apocalypse is not a good thing or bad thing; it just is. Depending on your perspective, you can make it what ever you want. Hope this gives clarity to you.
