The rise of the Divine Feminine - Part II
Now that the retreat is over, I want to share the gift from the Divine Masculine that I wrote for the Divine Feminine for their drumming ceremony on Saturday night.

Rousing the Goddess
Ladies, this is an exercise to help us process the energy of the weekend. As we move through the five stages of this ceremony, allow spirit to move through you. Put your mind at ease while we learn how to allow spirit to command our vessels. We will reach out with our hearts so that we can connect with the divine feminine through the heart beat of Mother Earth, represented by Regenesis, this drum. I will share a story for each part to set the mood and intent for each phase. Allow spirit to move you as your feelings connect to spirit, the divine masculine and the divine feminine.
Stage One – The Body (flow)
Intro: Start with single heart beat on the drum
The heart beat of Mother Earth is fanning the flames that were lit long ago when our grandmothers were burned at the stake. The grand daughters are tired, beaten, burnt, buried and bruised by thousands of years of suppression. She is looking for nourishment but finds a world that is foreign, strange, violent and deeply constricting. It is dark, so it is hard to see. All she can sense is the heart beat of Mother Earth resonating through her body.
She sees nothing but darkness about her despite her instincts to prepare for healing, nourishment and expressing her unbridled passion into the world. The divine Goddess within her breaks free from the flames like a phoenix from the ashes. Her body is now able to move with the expression Creator designed for her. She stands up and casts her first spell as the morning sun begins to rise and bring light back to Mother Earth. Everyone suddenly takes notice of the power and authority she commands. The Goddess is back!
Stage Two – Emotion (staccato / sharp)

Fear and a deep misunderstanding of her power has caused mankind to tremble and panic throughout the ages. Greed, violence, pillaging and the attempted control of Mother Earth has been felt by the divine feminine and mirrored in all our relationships. She has been enslaved, muzzled, conquered, contained, colonized, beaten and caged. We have experienced great betrayal by those we thought loved us, our own blood perverted and condemned. As a result, we have withdrawn inward out of pain, sorrow, guilt and shame.
The Goddess is feeling sadness, dishonour and abandonment for being repressed for so long. How can she recover from her own trauma and learn how to express the full scope of the Goddess? She must find within herself the courage to stand tall, acknowledge her scars, forgive the oppressors and find ways to express the ways of her ancestors prior to colonization. But how can she do that when deep feelings of love, creation, birth, death, destruction and fury flood her body? The Goddess stands up to allow the creative energy to flow through her body!
Stage Three – Mind (chaos)
Intro: drum with random beats. Mix it up.
The mind is the tool of the colonizer and we have been enslaved, bound and gagged in order to suppress, divide and conquer the divine feminine. It is confusing as our world has been turned upside down as a result. The mind struggles to make sense of it all. What is up is now down. What is black is now white. War is peace. Love is hate. The polarity of the world confuses and confounds the mind through the chaos of our oppressors. The complexity of the institutions that was created and forced upon us brings control and stifles our flow and creative power.
The Goddess is now awake and takes back control of her mind and commands it to do her bidding rather than the bidding of her oppressor. The mind fights back as years of brainwashing and slavery has taken its toll. The Goddess vows to remember how to stand in her power and sacredness as the battle rages within her mind. The stars calls to her deeply as she works hard to break free of the bonds that held her back for millennia. Her righteous fury pours forth as she breaks free from her prison to return to her place as a Goddess among the celestial temples. Her mind is now hers to command.
Stage Four – Heart (lyrical)
Intro: drum roll
The heart of the Goddess is as vast, beautiful and turbulent as the heavens above. Her mind has surrendered to the power of the divine feminine and now she finds the turbulence in her heart bubbling and swirling with the strength and desire to confront the years of violence and suppression. Her passion to right the wrongs and confront those who dishonoured the sacredness of the divine feminine is now at hand. She commands the power of life and death as she sets the standards upon which her realm will be governed. She embraces the creative forces within her heart, knowing it was always there, but afraid of its power and influence in the universe. She appreciates the past traumas and acknowledges that they helped forge the shield that she now carries with a determination and strength that she discovered within. Her scars remind her of the battles that have tempered the steel of her sword, a symbol of the righteousness she now wields within her heart.
The Goddess has found her place and has embraced her heart and the divine feminine within. She knows who she is and gives gratitude and thanks for the experiences that lead her to this place and time. Her life purpose is now laid out before her, determined to never again allow the suppression of the Goddess power now flowing like lava through her veins, powered by her beating heart.
She is now able to take her place among the stars and angels as her kingdom welcomes her with open arms. She feels the confidence, strength, inspiration, passion, creativity and love that suddenly is birthed through her own womb and suckled on her breast. Her chariot is pulled by beautiful beasts willing to serve her. Her heart has risen from the depths of Mother Earth’s bosom and risen up to shine like the northern star, guiding others along their path of healing and spiritual nourishment and growth.
The Goddess is comfortable and familiar with all her feelings, thoughts, turmoil, creative energy and emotions. She desires the safety to carry and nurture the union of Spirit and Mother Earth so that she can give birth to life, love, prosperity and compassion in order to cast out the darkness she was born in.
Stage Five – Spirit (stillness)
Intro: The heart beat of the cosmos
The Goddess rides across the sky and the world takes notice. She has found the power and authority of the divine feminine within herself. People are humbled as they finally acknowledge the vastness of her wild spirit and realizing that it cannot be tamed. They feel nourished and loved being around her, honoured that she has risen to help guide others on their journey and humbled by the vastness of her powers.
The Goddess is drawn by the roar of the Lion, sitting on their throne on Earth. She reaches out to the divine masculine as she feels safe around him, knowing they created a safe kingdom for her to express her wild beauty and passions. They both acknowledge each other and yet make no demands or attempts to conquer or control. Yet the two are drawn towards one another as they acknowledge that by joining forces, they can change the world and bring balance to one another and influence all our relationships. Spirit drives reconciliation and as a result, the Goddess inspires the Lion to be wild, while he inspires tranquility and calmness in the storm.
Together, they find a way to bring Heaven to Earth as they work hard to reconcile their relationship, embrace the strengths and powers of each and leverage that to change the world forever.
