The *Makahiya* (Shameful) Character
Gud evening Philippines, hello Steemians all around the world.
This is a Makahiya Plant that grows somewhere together with vast, green grasses. Oftentimes as a traditional comparison, it is always referred to a character of a shy person. This is because that when you touch this plant it will close its swaying leaves as if it is mandated to hide them.
My mom always tells us not to be being shy. Good thing I and my Kuya heed this advice that in sometimes mommy said , "Oh, don't be so confident it is somewhat like boasting."
Everybody in the house is counting on my Ate's behavior who is a shy type. We often advise her until she was enrolled in a classroom of more gays who became her friends. I think she was influenced by her gay friends with thick faces in any corner of this earth. It was the start when*Ate learnt how to mingle others. This plant is a reminder of my elder sister's behavior before.
