So it goes
Hello everyone,
This post will be short as I have little time to work on WayFinder these last few months. It, like all my projects, is a labor of love. At the end of November Google Play Store will cease its support for Android versions below 8.0. It is a logical move on Google's part as supporting the countless versions of Android is a security nightmare.
However, it does mean that my ability to program for Android will be severely limited. It also means that my other projects will suffer as well( [CafeSync](https://steempeak.com/technology/@bflanagin/project-updates-cafesync),[ EduSteem](https://steempeak.com/education/@bflanagin/project-updates-edusteem), etc. )
This is by no means the end of these projects. WayFinder,and EduSteem have a desktop client that is more than capable. However, one of the main components to WayFinder was its Mobile interface. Nor is this meant to be a downer post or a call to send me money.
Just a small update on a large project.
Wow it great to know that though your project may suffer some challenges you have a great desktop client who is more than capable. I wish you the best in your project.
