Dclick is an advertising platform that works with the steem blockchain. I'm currently testing it out as an advertiser. These are the results of my LunarExpress ads:

I first tried out some variations of text ads:

Then i tried out the image banners:

With image banners the cpc (=cost per click) is a lot lower, which mean i pay less when someone clicks the ad. Cpc is calculated on how much people click your ad, the more popular the lower your cpc will be.

It's normal that banners have a better cpc than text ads because almost nobody clicks on text ads, they are not that eye catching like a banner.

(Gifs are even better than image banners)

The cool think about dclick is when you advertise for let's say 1 sbd then you get 1 dollar in advertising budget + 1 dclick token. The dclick token is paid out by upvoting your most recent post when you reach a certain amount of dclick tokens. So it's a cheap way to advertise but dclick is also not perfect.

For instance there is a lot of click fraud going on. Content creators sometimes click their own ads to earn more.

Another problem is because dclick only has a limited amount of steem power then can give max 4 steem dollar in upvotes per day. So you can't really advertise more than that on a day or you will end up with a lot of dclick tokens.

I only realised that after spending 70 steem dollar in 2 weeks on all my ads (i also have other ads running that have nothing to do with LunarExpress)

So keep that in mind, take it easy.
