Hello uloggers, celebrities and fans alike!

So today I decided to combine two of my regular blogs which is my fundraiser and my journal. But first things first, will have a brief intro about #upfundme and #ulogs.

@upfundme was introduced to me by a steemit friend @leeart and I am grateful how I was able to raise funds for my mom's upcoming eye surgery. And also I wanted to thank #upfundme for creating this endeavor and helping steemies like me.

@ulogs is a movement initiated by our own Sir Terry @surpassinggoogle which started in this link.

I have been raising funds for my mom's surgery for 20 days now and so far I was able to raise $54.47 based on actual earning. All earning will be used for her operation and medicines until she fully recovers.

A Mother is she who can take place of all others
but whose place no one else can take.

My mom has glaucoma and the doctor told her that she needs to undergo an eye surgery before its too late as it may cost her eye sight. She did not told me about it not until last May so I tried to raise funds using #upfundme because my salary alone wont fit for her surgery and all. We were lucky enough to get an approval from Philhealth to cover her operation so I just have to take care now of the intraocular lens and meds.

What is an intraocular lens?

UPDATE:
I got a text message from the doctor's assistant this morning that they will schedule my mom's operation on Wednesday already. I got a bit agitated by the text message because I still don't have the cash on hand for the operation and I havent decided yet what lens should be used for my mom. I asked if I can still reschedule next week but they told me that they still dont have next schedule of operation and the approval of Philhealth might lapse already so it would be risky re-scheduling the operation.

As of this writing I have not yet decided what lens to use because of budget constraints and I dont know yet whats best for my mom's eye. Once the lens have been planted it cannot be undone so I have to make sure that the quality is also good. It is kinda frustrating at the same time since I am an only child I am left to decide and consider other factors on my own. Also upon checking today, value of sbd has dropped to 9% from 24hrs. I really hope that it recovers atleast tomorrow so I can withdraw sbd and use it on Wednesday for her operation.

So what about this #ulog?

Basically, we will want to infuse more of awesome "YOU" into the entire internet, reshaping it altogether by means of your Ulogs. We want to hear your unique stories each day.

Overall, we want to create fresh content each day, each involving YOU.
Ulogs are simply steemit posts containing logs of YOU; whether it be Vlogs, picture-moments, stories, plain-text, write-ups or a combination of all forms of media etc.

Any steemit posts that records your daily activities; celebrating "YOU" and life are "Ulogs" and Ulogs don't have to be perfect! They simple need to be real and utmostly "YOU".

I am almost halfway on my target and I am hoping that I will reach my target soon since the operation commences this Wednesday already. I am all hopes that the operation will be successful and that the sbd will get back on track again. Im seeking the help of this community to help me fund and prepare for her surgery. I will be forever grateful to this community for helping people like me especially to my #SDFamily and to generous steemians such as Sir @henry-gant. And to @upfundme for this opportunity! :)

Its just halfday but I feel so streesed already hahaha with the rain pouring so hard outside I just want to go home and sip some hot chocolate. For now, I will be leaving pictures of me and mom. Pictures related to her operation to follow.
