WHY did Musing.io removed the upvote button on their interface?

Musing were not the one that removed the upvote button earlier today...the problem was directly from the steemit platform.....according to the founder of musing who is jon ching,on the musing discord channel he said in his own words that :
"Sorry for the delay. It'll be working again soon. Steemit made changes again and completely removed this functionality....."he stated that some early hours ago.....but the good news is that the upvote button is now back on the interface of the platform.....
