Upvote Builders - Power in Unity

A man had a vision. That vision was to create a way for Steemians with low voting power (basically all of us unless you're a whale!) to use your SP to unite with other Steemians. This unified power will allow you, and your fellow delegators, to get a decent sized upvote for one quality post a day.

@ketcom started @upvotebuilders a few weeks ago. I was one of the first delegators in his project. I saw immediately that I could use my SP (which wasn't enough to give anyone a decent vote on my own) and combine it with others in this platform to benefit us all.

This is NOT a vote buying bot. I know many people use them but I think that system is abused, and results in far too many low quality posts receiving "purchased" rewards. I don't think that's what Steem communities should be about.

@upvotebuilders uses your delegation, which always remains YOURS and can be undelegated at any time, to combine with other delegators to make sure our SP counts. It's like we are sharing a whale-dom! Well, maybe just a minnow-dom for now, but the sky is the limit!

In just a few weeks, we have grown to 51 members and have a total SP of 14,350 (which includes SP from delegations, leases, and sponsors). There are 10 levels of delegation amd your upvote weight is based on your delegation level. Virtually everyone can participate and you can raise, lower, or delete your SP delegation at any time.

Membership Delegation Levels:

Level 1: 10 - 49 SP delegation - 2% voting weight
Level 2: 50 - 99 SP delegation - 5% voting weight
Level 3: 100 - 249 SP delegation - 10% voting weight
Level 4: 250 - 499 SP delegation - 20% voting weight
Level 5: 500 - 999 SP delegation - 30% voting weight
Level 6: 1,000 – 2,499 SP delegation - 45% voting weight
Level 7: 2,500 – 4,999 SP delegation - 60% voting weight
Level 8: 5,000 – 7,499 SP delegation - 70% voting weight
Level 9: 7,500 – 9,999 SP delegation - 85% voting weight
Level 10: 10,000 SP delegation and above gets you 100% voting weight

This program has been in existence for only a few weeks and has proven that it works. @ketcom makes a post every week, with complete transparency about the members, the delegations, and the rewards. All you have to do to join is make a delegation of SP to @upvotebuilders that fits your comfort level. It's that simple. If you have any question on how to make a delegation, the instructions are shown in each post.
