Automatic media download feature

When I first saw Automatic media download feature, I was a bit disappointed because I thought it was the normal Automatic media download feature seen on most messaging clients, but to my utmost surprise, I saw nifty features that were extremely great within this feature.

I have never seen a messaging client that allows a user to adjust the amount of data used during media file downloads, or to choose the type of files they are willing to download. It is now possible to do all that because it has been featured on the telegram messaging client application.

To access the Automatic media download feature, all you have to do is to click on settings, then data and storage tab. This will display the Automatic media download feature as a subheading with other sub-features displayed under.

The sub-features displayed under the Automatic media download feature enables users to choose between using their cellular network or their wifi network for downloading of media files.

Furthermore, if you choose to use your cellular network for media files download, you'll be presented with a slider which will enable you to slide between low, custom, medium and high data usage.

Below the slider displayed within the Automatic media download feature, you'll see a tab that displays different media file type. This option enables the users to establish their desired settings which will see different media files downloaded with respect to their settings.

Normally, the automatic download feature should cover all media file downloads, but telegram’s group of developers have made it possible to disable any file option that you don’t want to download.

The developers have provided users with a great amount of authority over how media files are downloaded. If you desire to turn on Automatic media download feature for just pictures, you can choose if you want to download pictures sent from your contacts, channels, private chats or other private chats automatically.

Apart from the picture tab which is situated under the data usage slider, videos and files tab contains a slider which will give you control over the size of files telegram messaging client can download automatically

Within the video tab, you can choose to preload a few seconds of a large video file.

If you wish to reset your Automatic media download feature, the developers have made necessary provisions with a tab which is displayed within the data and storage feature.

Due to the fall in the price of cryptocurrencies, it is difficult to obtain my monthly subscription for my smartphone. The implementation of an automatic download feature which comes with other options for controlling the amount of data used is a blessing to me. This update has given me so many reasons to thank the developers.

To save up data, the only files allowed to download automatically on my mobile device are pictures, the rest have been disabled because I can’t take that risk of wasting my mobile subscription data.

Conclusion

Honestly, I am super excited about this update, though there is a lot to figure out while test running them.

Telegram is a great project that has developers who care about the experience of its users, and the reputation of their platform.

I don’t think a month goes by without a new update springing up, this shows how keen they are on making telegram messaging client a better platform.

A lot has happened within the past six years and I am positive that what we are seeing is just a tip of the iceberg.

Hello, @abasifreke!

Thank you for this contribution. Telegram is a great app, and I am glad you decided to create a blog post about the recent developments. The post is comprehensive and well-illustrated with quality screenshots.

On the content side, this was a mixed bag for me. Even though I like all the information provided, I have to admit that I wanted to see more editorial content in your review. The post contains information about some basic features, but tells the readers so little about your personal knowledge and views. Furthermore, I wish you'd gone into detail regarding the key features described in your review. There is no actual value in describing the functionality of a few simple features without sharing valuable insights about your personal experience of using those.

That said, I think that this post could have been better written. There were serious issues of style and proofreading, making some parts of your text difficult to comprehend. Moreover, I think that you should look to improve your paragraphing. Each paragraph should always focus on one central point, as this is something that makes it easier to clarify your thinking about the progression of your argument.

I look forward to your next contribution.
