Project Details

The Quasar Framework is a node and vue based system for making websites and apps. The project has three main things that they will focus on:

• Documentation
• In-app translation strings
• Tutorials, guidelines, etcetera

Quasar Framework is a fresh new project for the Davinci/Utopian Translators to work on, and I felt like starting a translation project from scratch. The project on Crowdin has still to be filled with documentation, for now it exists of a very well-written Open Source Tutorial. This Tutorial is what I'll be translating the coming weeks. Even though I know the basics of Open Source I like the idea of translating the Tutorial since it will refresh my knowledge and probably teach me a few new things in the meanwhile.

Contribution

I translated a little over 1000 words which makes up for 92% of the total word count for this tutorial. This part went into the details of using images, how image licenses work, and how to work with for example digital collages, where many tiny graphics and fonts of different artists come together. As a photographer and professional artist this was of course very interesting to read.
