Translating the Steem Whitepaper | English-Dutch | #5
Project Details
I'm spending endless hours on the Steem Blockchain and love to explain Steem to both newbies (on and off-blockchain) and people who are already familiair with it. There are a lot of different aspects on the Steem Blockchain that are very detailed and I've noticed many people who are for example writing blogs on Steemit for months still have a lot of questions about the way reward distributions, witnesses or Steem Power work. Translating the Steem Whitepaper in my native language (Dutch) is my addition to add to a better understanding of the Steem Blockchain by more people.

Contribution
I translated seven (sub-)chapters from the source language English to Dutch. The chapters I translated today covered the topics of Allocation & Supply, Initial Allocation & Supply, Power Rewards, SBD operations, Current Allocation & Supply, Impact of Token Creation Rate, and The Power of Steem. I translated 1015 words which were then proofread and approved by @misslasvegas after I corrected mistakes I made. The total translation of the Steem Whitepaper from English to Dutch is now 85% complete.

This is my second week translating the Steem Whitepaper. It all went faster than I thought - I need only two more translation rounds before the Steem Whitepaper is finished. I'll use the last round to go through the translations of the previous translator to see if I find consistency issues since every translator will interpret words differently.
My goal was to finish translating the Steem Whitepaper before the end of September and that moment seems to be at the latest next week.

The text seems to get increasingly difficult to translate into the Dutch language, with a lot of words that can simply not be translated.
However, you seem to pull it off time after time and you work very fast.
The only things that needed correcting were a few words where a synonym just fit better.
