Communication

For having communication for this task request, I posted my design in the comments section in the task request and had a conversation with the P.O. at discord which you can found here.

Details

From the name "Minecolonies" they decided recently to give their group of developers a real name. They decided on this since for the last years they weren't only developing minecolonies but also other Minecraft modifications, and other applications which are not Minecraft related like ChatChain which enables us to connect different chat services and even game chats.

They are now named as"Let's Dev Together" a family of developers developing open-source applications for quite a while. Their group is open to devs independent of their abilities and experience. They try to be helpful and understanding and also they try to include new members as experienced as possible into their group.

Logo Idea

My idea is based on this concept "</>", and as you can see, these are persons, hand in hand in making things possible. They are open to each other making the job as seamless as possible.

Benefits / Improvements

• My design is clean and minimalistic.
• It follows the requirements set by the task request.
• Different color variations provided to make it work with black and white backgrounds
• The colors used are simple since it was preferred by the project owner.
• My design clearly shows the developer spirit and the openness of each other.

Tools

In creating my work, I mainly used Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 for making the design as it produces vector outputs and not pixel based like Adobe Photoshop. I only used Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 for the mockups and making the whole presentation.
