Knacksteem series; Be a contributor on knacksteem

Introduction

Knacksteem is a project that has been on the Steem block chain for some time now. If I'm right, the first introduction post was posted early last year by @knowledges. As part of the project team from the beginning, there is virtually nothing I don't know about the project. It has been a tough journey so far, but with determination and the goodwill Knacksteem team possess, things have been moving well lately. The aims and objectives behind the creation of Knacksteem is also part of what has been helping it move on.

This post is to call the attention of people to the platform. Also, it's to explain some things that aren't clear about the Knacksteem categories.

What is Knacksteem?

Knacksteem is an open source project built on the Steem block chain with the aim of incentivizing skills and talent. Everybody has a particular gift. It's clear that this is what Knacksteem want you to showcase on its platform and get rewarded. Knacksteem has many categories where you can show what you have to offer. All you need to do is to post through the platform and get rewarded for your good work.

Why is Knacksteem on the Steem block chain?

We have hundreds of project on the Steem block chain with different aim and objectives, but one thing binds them. "The block chain''. Though they have their objectives for creating their platform, they all share a common goal in term of rewarding with Steem through an up vote. Knacksteem is also part of these numerous projects. Apart from this, Knacksteem aims at encouraging people to showcase their skills.

There are many people with diverse talent but has no motivators.
I'm not saying there are no motivators, but locating one might seems difficult for some people especially the new bees. Knacksteem is a home for anyone willing to display their innate ability.

Why should I post through Knacksteem?

There are many steemians posting through the steemit frontend.
Of course, I'm not in any way against that. I also do the same, but whenever I discover any platform I can contribute to, I bend to it.

Posting through other platforms does not deprive you of the support you will get from fellow steemians. So whether you post through steemit or a third party interface, your post will still be visible on the Steemit front end.
Contributing to Knacksteem is what I would love my fellow Steemians to start doing. It's certain that the effort put into creating content on Knacksteem will not go unappreciated.

As far as your work isn't a plagiarized content, and it's related to one of the categories on Knacksteem, you will get an up vote from the Knacksteem account. It's one of the ways to say thank you to contributors for using the platform.

• You will receive some Knack tokens for posting to Knacksteem.

Already, Knacksteem has started the distribution of Knack token as planned.
For every content posted on the platform, there's a number of tokens to be given to every contributor depending on the point merited.

• You will meet more people on the platform, make more friends and work together as one. Most of the people I know on Steemit today were met on one platform or another. I've had a lot of friends on Utopian.io, Musing.io, Actifit.io, Steemhunt.com, Memeit.lol, to mention but a few. One way or the other, we've been benefiting from ourselves and, we are still doing a lot together.

Is Knacksteem only for people with special skills?

Nay! I would love to clear this part. There are many categories on Knacksteem. Specifically, the platform has the following.

• DIY

• Gaming

• Altruism

• Tech trend

• Jokes

• Music

• Documentary.

Everybody can contribute to any of these categories. If you are not good at one, definitely you should be good at another. Besides, there are some of them that don't need any skills before contributing.

Art deals with paintings, drawings, sculpting, or anything that falls under artistic work.

Gaming is all about reviewing any game you've played.

Tech trend is all about informing people about what is happening in the world of technology.

Cracking jokes and making people laugh is also another part of the category where you can show what you've got.

Writing lyrics and composing songs is also welcome in the music category.

Documentary is another category on knacksteem. It can be said to be anything that gives facts and information about a subject. It has nothing to do with your skills or innate ability.
You can talk about the movies you've watched or any factual programme you are opportune to view or listen to. You can also review anything on this category so far it talks about a particular thing emphatically. Some Knacksteem categories are writing and not based on talent and skills, though that's the aim of creating the platform.

Knacksteem is a platform that parades skills and talent. Nevertheless, there are still categories that are fit for anyone that doesn't possess the skills and talents.

Let's support Knacksteem

It's our responsibility as steemian to help improve every reasonable upcoming project. The reason is that we are all hoping to have a better day with steem. Therefore, we need to be our brother's keeper. Whatever we do to help improve the system count a lot. Giving support to projects that have the potential of adding value to the existing system will add more value to the block chain.

• Knacksteem can be supported by making contributions to the platform. The project needs contributors to stay alive. It is the activities of the people in the platform that will drive it towards success. Knacksteem is free for everyone to use. It cost nothing to post as we contribute to other projects without paying a dime.

• Also through delegation;

In other to reward the contributors excellently, Knacksteem needs support from fellow steemians. The received delegation would be used to reward contributors. You can delegate any amount to exhibit your support.

Get Knack token now(It's an opportunity)

The ability to sight opportunity and grab it at the early stage is what differentiates some set of people from another. The Steem block chain has a good reputation, and I'm sure that good things are beginning to happen. We've been hearing about launching of SMT's for a long time, and nothing happens. Thank God things are beginning to take shape. With the initiative to list SMT's in daybit exchange, it's a sign that better days are ahead of us on the Steem block chain. By the time this is actualized, our SMT's would start having value depending on its user base and other criteria. Then, we would be able to exchange with other cryptocurrency and also convert to fiat. Although there hasn't been any news about whether knacksteem will join the initiative or not. Our fingers are crossed.

Now that KNT is massively distributed is the right time to start earning enough. It's certain that the moment the token started having value, the distribution tempo will reduce. That's just my assumption. Earn, adopt, and acquire when it seems to have no value. That's one of the secret crypto traders.
Post to Knacksteem, delegate, and adopt KNT massively. If you believe in Steem, then let your optimism be high about SMT's.

Voting slider

The voting slider feature was set up with the up vote and down vote function. With it, you can set the percentage you wish to upvote or down vote a post.

Search feature

It will allow you to query any content, and get it within a twinkle of an eye. It will reduce the stress of scrolling in search of contents.

Sponsor page

The sponsor page was initially empty but not anymore. If you check it now, there are sponsors names in descending order according to the amount of SP delegated.

The frequently asked questions are the likely questions you might need to understand. Knacksteem came up with the questions and answers to help everyone with the needed info.

Upload image now working

I posted on knacksteem not quite long, and I discovered that the upload image has started working perfectly. For a long time, this feature has not been working at all but not anymore. There hasn't been any info from the PO concerning this and some fixed bugs. I'm just a little forward to chip it in.

There is still more feature implementation coming soon. Knacksteem plans to have a notification system, subscribers, wallet and more.

Conclusion

As I've earlier said, contributing to the platform is key. Let's start making out time to chip something into every nice project on the steem block chain.
