Sportherald.org is an open source project mainly created for sport lovers around the world. It is aim at rewarding sport predictors with accurate forecasting ability. Sportherald.org is built on steem blockchain to create a community where sport lovers can come together to forecast/predict and at the same time get rewarded for their meticulous predictions.

Inspiration
For many years, there has been different sport betting sites where punters explicitly predict and stake to make profit, few at the end of the day get double income while many only catch the air. Some get angry while some are happy at the end of every outcome. This is what really motivated us to come up with sportherald.org where people can predict without paying a dime and at the same time have fun and get rewarded for every accurate prediction made on the platform.

Technology Stack
Sportherald.org was built using steem-js. It was hosted on digital ocean server and the front end is 85% built on vanilla java script.

Django framework was implemented in the backend due to it’s massive scalability, speed and security.
The website uses advanced TLS encryption for ensuring that all data sent to and fro from our servers are kept encrypted end-to-end.
We let steemconnect handle authentication taking advantage of the security features that comes with the oauth2 authentication protocol.

Reference - https://github.com/steemit/steemconnect/wiki/OAuth-2

We are in the alpha stage and we are still working on lots of things. Presently, some features are still not perfect and work is going on steady. part of what will be implemented is the

Thanks for the contribution, @darewealth.

At the time of reviewing your contribution https://sportherald.org/ is down and can't be accessed, but from checking your screenshots it seems like most of the things are hardcoded?

Also, the commits were made by three different people: sportherald, matthitachi and toluwanicareer. I'm assuming your account is the sportherald one, who only updated the README and the LICENSE. I would recommend that the developers make the contributions themselves and add their Steem username to their bio on GitHub.

Finally, it would be great if you added more information to the README, like how to install and use everything locally.

Thank you @amosbastian for reviewing the contribution, here is the right link http://sportherald.org/ you should be able to access with that i will change it to https soon and all the things you pointed out will be fixed, also i am posting as the project owner. Thanks

If you are posting as the project owner then it is best to post about it in the blog category. The development category is meant for the people actually doing the development.

This user created a TR. Do you think this project is legit and developed enough to create a TR for logo design?

Not in its current state - it could be in the future, though. I just checked again and the URL for the website still doesn't work for me (gives a 404 Not Found error).

@amosbastian We had issues connecting to the server but currently that have been sorved, You can check the site http://sportherald.org/
