Addition of some features to social chat app

Social chat app is an open source messaging application which offers free end to end messassing to it users and my suggestion is on the addition of more features to social chat app.
Proposal
Social chat is an open source app and my suggestion of some feature to the app are:
- insert images
- insert video
The insert image will add more value to the app because user will be able to share image to other users with ease by just click on the insert Image button, also the addition of insert video feature to the app enable user to send video to other user.

Here is the new look of social chat app when the feature is incorporated.
Benefits
The benefit when the insert video and image is implemented will be that user will able to share image and video with other user which will add value to the application.
