Node.js project details:

In short: Node.js® is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine.
As an asynchronous event driven JavaScript runtime, Node is designed to build scalable network applications.

The translation

I am still on the chapter of Assertion, and this time I had the 'deep-equal' down. It seems to make more sense as I go along. This time however, there were even a few parts that made me laugh. I never suspected that the people who write this kind of code, would actually put some humour into it when they work, but they do. Not that I'm saying that developers don't have a sense of humour, it just seems like very serious work. But when I read: 'Got unwanted exception: Whoops' it made me laugh. See, every time I am translating more of the Node.js project, I am learning something new.

Developers have a sense of humour = check

There wasn't as much code in this part as there was in the last one, but there is still a lot of it, so everything has to be checked carefully. Some of the words within code has to be translated, some of it doesn't. I am lucky to have @minersean's watchful eye checking for that as well, because he sees things I might have missed. On the other hand, the further I go along with the translation, the more I learn where to leave it as is, and where to translate.
I am slowly crouching closer to the 10,000 words mark, which will bring the translation for Node.js to 1%. That means this will truly be a project for the next few years for me, something I wasn't looking forward to in the beginning, but now, I realised it keeps my head sharp and I learn more than just a thing or two, so it could just be very enjoyable to keep going on this. I haven't had one translation that was like the previous one, so it keeps me interested too!
I never thought I would enjoy translating a huge project like this one as much as I do, but I truly am enjoying every single word.

This part had 1162 words.

What comes up next?

After the last translation, I started on the 'assertion' chapter, which has a little over 3700 words. I've finished 58% of that now, so with 2 translations, I will have this chapter finished.

Hey @misslasvegas, thank you for your contribution to the translation project for Davinci-Utopian!

This has been your 7th contribution to Node.js, bringing your total translated words to 7669. (However, because of how the Node.js project is made, there were some strings duplicated and the project actually shows a total of 8094 words translated.)
With the project having 1,048,272 words total, you will need another 2389 words before the 1% marking! I can't wait!

Your translations are of high quality and the Node.js project should be happy with your contributions, because not only is the quality of your work high, the quantity is amazing too!

The amount of things to catch is getting lower and lower, with there only being some strings with typos and here and there a word that should be translated, not translated (and vice versa).

Keep up the good work!

Good work!
