Asclepeion is a temple built in the form of a Greek deity dedicated to the Greek goddess Ascpalipos. There the sick would be provided medical treatment. Hippocrates, which has long been a part of life, has probably traveled on the coast of the Aegean Sea and its inland areas, now known as Bulgaria and Turkey.
