Steemit does not maintain "Night Mode" when re-open the browser

Expected behavior
The usual behavior is when I choose "Toggle Night Mode", the webpage steemit.com will maintain Night Mode after I close the tab, exit the browser and open steemit.com again.
Actual behavior
After closing the tab, exit the browser and open it again, the webpage steemit.com will not be able to maintain "Night Mode".
How to reproduce
To reproduce this bug, open chrome then go to steemit.com and choose "Toggle Night Mode". After that, close the tab, exit the browser then open the browser and go to steemit.com again. Now, steemit.com will not be in "Night Mode" anymore. I also provided a video down below on how to reproduce the bug.
- Browser/App version: Chrome 65.0.3325.109
- Operating system: Android 5.0.0; SM-N900 Build/LRX21V
- Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Thank your for reporting through utopian, i tried to replicate the behavior on my device but there was no issue, reports of a more severe bug that will attract the PO to fix is more appreciated

It used to do that the first few months when I joined this past December. It did it on different browsers on PC. The issue got fixed. Once in a while, maybe once a month it might do that to me.
It may have been from a browser update & a cookie or the cache got replaced. Not sure where it stores that setting when you change it.
