Suggestion For Steemauto: Addition Of Blacklist Feature To Prevent Auto-votes on some Accounts

Components

Steemauto is an amazing steem automation tool. It makes voting easy and convenient for users. But it would be even better if we can also have a more deciding factor on accounts we vote even when on a curation trail.

Proposal Description

My proposal is for the project owner to implement a blacklist feature on steemauto. Steemauto helps steem users automate their votes on posts either through curation trails or fanbase. When following a curation trail, the chief curator could vote on a post which you may not like, or you might not even like the users posts in general. With the blacklist feature, steemauto will not autovote any account which will be on your blacklist feature.

There could be different reasons for one not to vote on a particular authors posts. It could be he writes about a religion you do not like, or probably a crypto project which you are not in support of. The blacklist feature will be essential to steemauto users.

On the home page of steemauto, the vote automation tools currently are

• fanbase
• curation trail
• vote comments

Adding an extra one for blacklist which will do the opposite ( stop autovotes)

On the blacklist page you simply type in a steem account/author which you would like to add to your blacklist so you never auto-upvote them again.

Below, there will be a list of users which you have blacklisted. Clicking on them, an option for you to unblacklist them should pop up.

Benefits

• Convenience; This will make using steemauto more convenient for users since it will be an additional automation tool, instead of one to go back and start unvoting a post which he auto-voted on.

• Peace; Unvoting an authors posts might piss off the author. I in particular gets pissed off when one removes his vote from my posts. Someone who can't control himself might dyart a flag war because you removed your vote from his post.

• Saves VP and Resources; Upvoting and Unvoting has just rendered two votes useless which is a wasted resource. The blacklist feature will be a good tool to avoid such vote wastage.
