Weekly overview of the Blog category- Week 23, 2019
This is a weekly report of the Utopian Blog category. The report will show the activities from May 30 - June 5, 2019.
This is a week with much exciting information. I hoped for changes, and we had a lot in the category, from the number of contributions, unique contributors, and the quality of the contributions received. So, this week, we received 29 valid blog posts, six #Iamutopian reports, and two irrelevant posts.
Top Contributor.
@rosatravels is the category top contributor. She submitted three decent contributions in the course of the week. Two of those are updates of her progress in promoting Steemhunt and Actifit, and the third is her weekly report.
Top Scored contribution
As always, we received a lot of fantastic posts, but the most scored is @good-karma's surfer update. The post contains information about the improvements in the eSteem surfer app. If you haven't read the post, please do!
Contributions per week
We experienced a better week in all aspect of the category. I am even more happy to see the reduction of irrelevant contributions. One of the irrelevant posts received is a review of a project on the Utopian blacklist. So, It was Ignored. For a clearer view, I will list the contributions as shown in the chart.

Category Average Score
There is also an increase in the Blog contributions average score. I am thrilled to see that we received a better quality, compared to the previous week. However, the average score for #Iamutopian posts declined a bit.
To sum up, the average score this week for Blog posts is 62, and 83.6 for #Iamutopian reports. (Excluding the two irrelevant posts)

Reviews per day
Just like last week, we reviewed the most on Saturday. I think while others were having fun; we were busy moderating. Moreover, we were active in every day of the week, and I am pleased to see this.
This is clearly another good week. Even with the short EID holidays; the category remained active. However, I hope to see more quality posts flowing in.

Hello, @tykee. Indeed, this is another great week. Good to see that there is fewer Irrelevant contribution. However, the quality of the contributions coming into the category needs to improve. One of the best approach to motivate contributors to provide valuable contents is through feedback. Going through the team's previous comment feedback, I can say that you all are already doing a great job. However, more effort would be appreciated.
