Add Value 增值

A person can become successful by adding value to oneself. However, the person becomes significant by adding value to others. As everyone has embedded value, technically we can neither increase nor decrease a person’s value. Therefore, adding value in this short article is equivalent to maximising potential.

We can add value to oneself by willing to learn and be equipped. To do so we are maximising our potential. For example, a runner may run very fast even without going through proper training. But all successful athletes have to be coached to perform better in his or her area of sports. Hence, an athlete going through training is indeed adding value to oneself or having one’s potential maximised.

To further illustrate the above example, a coach is adding value to others. By helping others to maximise their potential, he or she becomes significant as others are enabled to be successful.

一个人可以通过增值来获得成功。然而，如果能夠令别人增值，这个人将会变得更有影响力。由于每个人都含有价值，就技术上而言，我们既不能增加亦不能减少一个人的价值。因此此短文所谓的增值即相等于協助發挥潜力。

一个人能夠透过学习和接受装备为自己增值。如此作的时候，我们是在發挥自己的潜力。例如，即使没有经过适当的培训，一位跑步者也可能跑得非常快。但是，所有成功的运动员都必须在他的运动项目受训以表现得更好。所以经过训练的运动员已经使自己增值或者进一步發揮个人的潜力。

为了进一步说明上述例子，可以说一位教练其实是在为其他人增值。通过帮助他人發挥他们最大的潜力，他有很大的影响，因为他是從事使人能够成功。
