Vanig will Give a Boost to E-Commerce Industry with an Integrated Supply Chain
E-Commerce requires business efficiency at all levels: Its impact is threefold as it integrates a financial level alongside marketing and online presence. Supply chain management is a particularly critical component in this context, as it is in the backbone of E-Commerce. In order to stay competitive, companies should be able to deliver their products at the right place in due course. For this purpose, both internal and external business processes should be integrated and automated within a single framework.
Vanig establishes a blockchain platform to connect supply chains to the e-commerce infrastructure. All interactions between the participants will form a transaction chain, which can be traced from a manufacturer to end customers. Vanig establishes its own supply chain register to store information on raw materials and product, so that each particular property can be easily recalled from the system. The platform relies on P2P communication across its network, that is, each peer will function to both send and respond to requests.
Alongside establishing a ledger for product information and trustworthy reviews, Vanig focuses on two other important aspects, that are logistics and proofs of origin. Since the information on materials used in production will be stored in smart contracts, the source of material can be clearly indicated. In order to expand its product list, Vanig will allow for integration with large online marketplaces, including Amazon and Walmart.
Platform's infrastructure and functionality
The Vanig infrastructure is formed by three main components, which are referred as layers of (1) Intelligence and Data, (2) Presentation and (3) Application. All interactions will be enabled within the Presentation layer, which is designed with both the desktop and mobile interfaces.
Product information including images and reviews will be integrated in Semantic, which is also an Application layer. This will help customers access product data, whereas businesses will be able to represent their corporate data on the platform. All transaction services and ledgers will be configured within the the Intelligence and Data structure. As for payment methods, both cryptocurrencies and fiat money will be approved.
Token Sale Plan
VANIG is an ERC-20 enabled token used as a means of payment on the platform. Public ICO will start on July 23, 2018 and end on September 25, 2018.
E-Commerce has a broad perspective as more and more companies are willing to take advantage of the online presence.
